Tutto Food: the food exhibition in Milan

Tutto Food and the City of Milan launch the second edition of Milano Food City, which will be held from 7th to 13th May. A week of food & wine events that will enliven the streets and squares of the city in the name of quality food. Perfect for those who do not know what to do in Milan.

An unmissable event

With 178 thousand visitors for 320 events, show-cooking, meetings, tastings and talks, the first edition of the event was a real success. The 2018 edition returns to reinforce the role of Milan as the cornerstone of Italian agri-food excellence, with an eye to the issue of health and sustainability. The program of the event is built thanks to the collaboration with the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, the Umberto Veronesi Foundation and Confcommercio. And it attracts an extremely large audience, not just Italian.

It is in fact an International B2B Fair dedicated to food & beverage, which will be held in May at FieraMilano. This event is also the only industry event in the Italian trade fair. Precisely because of its international character, it is an unmissable appointment for foreign companies interested in the Italian market.

This is why it is a destination for national and international buyers and allows, among other things, to follow the main market trends of the moment. And there’s more: Tutto Food will also be the animator of the Festa Bio, created in collaboration with FederBio and Taste of Milano, Festival of the Chefs, which will be held from May 10th to 13th , and of Salumiamo (May 10) .

What to do in Milan: the program for the week

The seven-day calendar – from the center to the outskirts – includes talk shows, routes, art, tastings, insights, culture, aimed at gourmand enthusiasts, tourists, citizens and families, who will be involved in breakfasts and happy hours, cooking demonstrations, solidarity projects, with the elegant Palazzo Bovara open to the public to host the masters of coffee or gourmet pizza.

At the West Gate of Porta Venezia, however, there will be “The WineMi Masterclasses”, as well as bakers and herbalists. In Piazza Castello, every day, about 50 Lombard farms will offer the best of their agricultural production in a specific “FarmerMarket”. Knowledge and diversity of food will be the main theme of the II edition of Food For All !, the cultural program organized by the Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation, in via Pasubio will be animated by meetings, insights, work tables and educational workshops. The protagonists will be chefs, writers, scientists, popularizers, entrepreneurs and artists.

All in the name of food culture and the virtues of food. It is also declined through tradition, aesthetics, conviviality and multiculturalism.
