Puglia Neprica

Neprica is a red wine of Puglia coming from vineyards present in Salento and in the area of Murgia (regions in Puglia corresponding to uplands) of Bari. To produce it are use Negroamaro, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Treatment: these grapes are harvested and separately vinified in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of maximum twenty-six degrees for eight or ten days. Then the grapes ferment in the malolactic way. In steel tanks there is the refinement process for about eight months, and in bottle for four months.

Description: the colour is ruby-red with reflects tending to violet. At the smell one can feel red fruits, plums and violets. Taste is soft and smooth, pleasantly acid.

Complement: it matches well with rich (red) meats and/or vegetables dishes, roasts.
