There are no set-up windows displays but only large windows. It is in fact located in the halls of the main floor of the sumptuous Palazzo Campanella. This building is located in the historic center of the city, once home to Baldassarre Lomellino, Genoese nobleman who was responsible for its construction, which took place between 1562 and 1565. It is here that the Unesco heritage store was born, including gold decoration, eighteenth-century stucco and Renaissance frescoes. Located in Via Garibaldi, in front of the Palazzo Doria Tursi gardens, Palazzo Campanella was constructed between 1562 and 1565 by the architect Giovanni Ponzello. Damaged by bombing in 1942, the building was restored several times in the postwar period. The dialogue between old and contemporary is the focal point created by the architect William Sawaya of Lebanon, through which the owners have wanted to offer a unique selection of objects, a mixture of styles, and a fusion of trends
The staircase leading to the lifestyle store welcomes visitors with the imposing marble statue of Nicholas Traverso, depicting the goddess Flora; inside the new space it is worth mentioning the Daphnis and Chloe room, which owes its name to the little shepherds musicians painted in the central ceiling medallion, while the stucco decorations represent satyrs and nymphs. Among the designers we find outstanding Italian names: Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas. Absolutely recommended!
