In the south of Sardinia, there is Villasimius, a town dotted with several beautiful beaches. These include Punta Molentis, Porto Giunco, Cala Caterina, Porto Sa Ruxi and Campus Beach.   1. La Maddalena – La Maddalena Archipelago

The Maddalena Archipelago is a natural paradise composed of seven main islands and several smaller islands with some of the most beautiful beaches in the province of Olbia-Tempio and Sardinia in general.

Exploring the archipelago, among the most beautiful beaches there are Cala dello Spalmatore (fine sand, crystal clear waters and wild nature), Spiaggia dei Monti dell’Arena (sand dunes and Mediterranean scrub) and Cala Francese (fine sand and crystal clear sea) on the island of Maddalena. 

Going towards the Island of Caprera, you can admire Cala Coticcio with its turquoise waters and its rocks. Among the wonders of the Archipelago there are also the Island of Budelli with the Pink Beach, where the sand mixes with the grains of coral, and the Island of Spargi with its pristine Cala Corsara and bathed by turquoise waters.

Accessible only by sea or through a path that starts from the Golgo Plateau, Cala Goloritzé is a small bay of Ogliastra surrounded by high limestone cliffs.   1. Cala Mariolu – Baunei

Moving north from Cala Goloritzé there is Cala Mariolu, a beach that takes its name from the monk seal “thief” that, it is said, stole the catch of the fishermen of Ponza. It is renowned for its tiny pebbles mixed with sand and for its crystal clear waters of intense shades of blue, blue and green. It is a perfect place to snorkel and admire the rich underwater life that populates the seabed.

  1. Porto Pino Beach – Sant’Anna Arresi

Porto Pino is known for its dunes of fine white sand, for its shallow and clear waters and for its lush pine forest that offers shelter. It is an ideal place to relax and to practice water sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing, thanks to its perfect conditions for the wind.
