Summer 2022 in San Vito Lo Capo: events not to be missed

San Vito Lo Capo is the perfect vacation spot for lovers of the sea and sunbathing but also offers much more.

Tradition, culture and integration in San Vito Lo Capo

From 13 to 15 June, like every year, a great party is held here: the Feast of San Vito during which the historical re-enactment of the saint’s landing takes place and you can admire a fireworks display at sunset. A very important holiday for those who live here but also an opportunity for tourists who want to learn about local traditions.

From 11 to 16 July San Vito Lo Capo will host the Sicili Ambiente Film Festival, an international festival to share short films and documentaries whose central theme is the environment: sustainability, human rights and much more will be covered during the festival. A great opportunity to sensitize even the youngest to the issue and to learn to love our planet.

Finally, the most famous event in San Vito Lo Capo which this year is in its twenty-fifth edition: the Cous Cous Fest. In the spirit of this edition’s slogan, Love Never Stops, Italian and international chefs will compete with each other by proposing the most original recipes based on cous cous. At the center of the event, as always, is cultural integration: an opportunity to be seized for September holidaymakers since it will be held from 16 to 25 September.

August 20 and 21 San Vito Lo Capo will host one of the funniest and most famous events of the Italian summers: the Vertical Summer Tour, the most famous traveling holiday village in Italy.
