Inaugurated at Palazzo Piacentini, in the presence of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, sen. Adolfo Urso, the exhibition “FederlegnoArredo 80° | 1945-2025”.The exhibition celebrates the eighty years of history of FederlegnoArredo, recounting the evolution and identity of the Federation through a selection of graphic posters that visually represent the multiple souls of the wood-furniture supply chain, a symbol of Italian excellence.

Under the artistic direction of Beppe Finessi, the exhibition intertwines the history of the Federation with that of its enterprises, tracing a visual path of great impact and cultural value.

“Our civilization has always been based on the person, which is why the leading sectors of our economy include clothing, food, self-care and furniture. Italian know-how in a context that enhances the environment and knowledge. This day celebrates an Italian excellence like FederlegnoArredo on an important occasion such as the eightieth anniversary of its foundation” declared Sen. Adolfo Urso, Minister of Business and Made in Italy.

“FederlegnoArredo represents the heart of the Italian wood-furniture supply chain of the Italian system. The deep roots of Italian know-how, which pass through the skilled hands of artisans-entrepreneurs, start from afar and spread the taste of Made in Italy living throughout the world. Enhancing this important sector that combines craftsmanship and business through the recognition of a stamp and a dedicated exhibition is a source of great satisfaction for me as part of the path undertaken by this Ministry in promoting Made in Italy” underlined Fausta Bergamotto, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy.

During the event, attended by the president of FederlegnoArredo, Claudio Feltrin, and the special advisor of Confindustria, Antonio Gozzi, the ordinary stamp of the thematic series “The excellence of the production system and Made in Italy” was also unveiled, dedicated to the 80 years of FederlegnoArredo. Produced by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato and marketed by Poste Italiane, the stamp, issued in two hundred thousand copies, depicts, in a stylized graphic composition by Mauro Bubbico, the three protagonists of the woodworking production sector: the entrepreneur, the designer and the craftsman.

The exhibition can be visited at the atrium of Palazzo Piacentini and represents a unique opportunity to rediscover, through the language of graphics, the identity strength of a sector that has been able to combine tradition, innovation and international vision. (Source MIMIT)
