To then move on to the wire drawing, the phase in which the rods are passed through a machine to be reduced into wires of two millimeters in diameter. And to the twist, which sees the assembly in a long braid of different threads, until obtaining the so-called garnet.
Subsequently, the processing goes through the phases of rolling, scrapping and filling, thanks to which – with appropriate machinery – the garnet thread gradually assumes the characteristic aspects of the filigree. To then be adapted to the pre-established design, and finally soldered, filled with minute forms and structures (rizzetti, panetti, resche).
