The undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto: “A space to create synergies and relaunch the Made in Italy”.
A step towards closer links between territories, enterprises and institutions. It was inaugurated in Florence, at the monumental loggia of via Pellicceria 3, the House of Made in Italy, in the presence of the undersecretary to Enterprises and Made in Italy, Fausta Bergamotto. The initiative, promoted by the Territorial Inspectorate of Tuscany, has seen the participation of prominent figures of local institutions, including the president of the Region of Tuscany, Eugenio Giani, and representatives of the regional business fabric.
The opening took place on the eve of Pitti Uomo, a symbol of Florentine excellence in the world of fashion. During the event, Under-Secretary Bergamotto celebrated the opening with the traditional ribbon cutting, followed by the cancellation of a commemorative stamp that unites two icons of the city: the Vitruvian man and the Florentine lily.

“Florence is the fourteenth city to host a House of Made in Italy, a project that represents a meeting point to foster synergies between companies, citizens, institutions, universities, chambers of commerce and emerging technologies houses,” explained the undersecretary. “This space will be the direct channel between local realities and the Ministry’s general directorates, with the aim of supporting economic development, collecting the territory’s demands and enhancing Made in Italy”.
In addition to providing ongoing assistance to companies to optimize access to public incentives, the Made in Italy Florence aims to be a hub of dialogue between institutions and entrepreneurs, encouraging innovation and growth of local production. During the event, the Arts 4.0 Competence Centre in Tuscany presented some of the emerging technologies being tested, a preview intended to facilitate technology transfer to companies in the region. The opening of this space represents a further stage in the Ministry’s journey to promote Made in Italy as a motor for economic and cultural development, in Italy and worldwide.
