From October 2nd to 10th the Milano Wine Week 2021, the fair dedicated to the world of wine, returns once more for its fourth edition.
The international event, which takes the form of the biggest laboratory for wine consumption, ties in well with the urban fabric of the city of Milan capturing the trends of the sector and having consumers’ needs met by the makers’ offer. This all happens within a framework which comes with a lot of events and ideas to involve the audience and to create connections in the world of wine, distribution, food service – all in name of the best excellences Made in Italy.
Milano Wine Week 2021: main spots
Headquarters for Milano Wine Week 2021 is, as always, Palazzo Bovara, in Corso Venezia, but the many events of the program will be taking place all around Milan, between wine tasting, masterclasses, panels, meetings and chances to interact and discuss among professionals. A packed program featuring many high-impact events is scheduled to take place in hundreds of locations and restaurants all over town, leading to experiencing new things and to tasting extraordinary wine products, in combination with hundreds of across-the-board activities, which will involve fashion showrooms, ateliers and art-dedicated spaces. This year it will be easier to manage the many activities of the event thanks to a dedicated App designed specifically to create a customized path for visitors.
The main Wine Districts of this edition are Brera, with the Consortium for the Protection of Franciacorta, Sempione with Asti Docg, Porta Venezia with the Consortium for the Protection of Vini d’Abruzzo, Marghera will host the Consortium for the Protection of the Valpolicella wines, Zona Eustachi the wines of the Oltrepò Pavese, Porta Romana the wines with Lugana denomination, and the Isola block Liguria’s wines.
There will be countless opportunities to bring together wine and food, thanks to the involvement of administration and catering activities, starting with the Cuisine of the Milano Wine Week 2021 with wine pairing activities, the culture of pairing wines and gastronomy.
Then the Wine Tours dedicated to the public return with itineraries and activities to discover the excellence of the wine territories, touching places no more than two hours away from the Lombard capital.
On the program, among other things, there is the Wine Business City – from 3 to 4 October – an innovative business event dedicated to the main players in the wine sector, and an expansion of the international program is expected, extended to 11 cities: Montreal, Toronto, New York, Chicago, Miami, London, Moscow, Shanghai, Shenzen, Tokyo, Hong Kong.
