Are you a fan of contemporary artwork and never miss an exhibition? Would you like to know what’s planned in Italy next month to further expand your knowledge?
Then I want to suggest one of the most important contemporary art fairs held in our country, hosted by the city of Turin: Artissima!
Just think: Every year there are about 200 galleries from around the world and there are also three sections dedicated to emerging artists, drawing and rediscovering great names of contemporary art.
From 3rd to 5th November, when the event will be held, you will be able to experience a great show that has been repeated for 23 years! A great start if you need some new ideas of what to see in Italy!
This year it will be held at the Oval, a glass pavilion located in Via Giacomo Mattè Trucco 70, in the industrial archeology complex of the Lingotto diTorino.
Following you will find more information about taking part in the event.

I’m talking about a fair devoted entirely to contemporary art and articulated in four sections:
• Main Section: Reserved for the most renowned galleries at international level
• Dialogue: dedicated exclusively to emerging galleries
• New Entries: all for galleries with less than 5 years of activity and arriving for the first time in Turin
• Art Editions: reserved for galleries dedicated to editions and multiples of artists.
To these, as mentioned earlier, there are three other interesting sections respectively dedicated to emerging talents, to great pioneers of contemporary art and drawings.
Believe me: it’s really the fair of contemporary art in Italy that is worth a visit, even for those who are not great acquaintances and fans like you!

Since Artissima only lasts three days, I suggest that you devote a few hours to a visit of the city of Turin, in my opinion, one of the things that should absolutely must be seen in Italy.
But not only … at this event you can also take a tour of the Castle of Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art or the Civic Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art.
Do you like the idea? Then I also recommend a short stop at the Living Art Park, an experimental center for contemporary art.

But that’s not all … did you know that Turin is also a place of nature? That’s right and it counts 17 parks, one more beautiful than the other.
I suggest you visit the Valentino Park, a green expanse of 450 thousand square meters that houses an ancient Botanical Garden, the Castle and the Medieval Village. Wonderful, right?
