The fair
Arte in Fiera Dolomiti takes place in two parts. The first is on 17 and 18 February while the second takes place from 23rd to 25th of the same month. Inside the exhibition space there are some of the most important art galleries. Today, now in its thirteenth edition, it has become a staple for enthusiasts and collectors. The review is completed by the publication of a prestigious catalouge in which all the artists present at the event are gathered.
Headquarters
First of all, the place where the event takes place is located inside the pavilions of the Fiera di Longarone. This is one of the most famous places in the Dolomites and since 2009it has been included in the UNESCO list as a world heritage of humanity.

The opening days and times are Friday from 14.30p.m. to 7p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10a.am. to 7p.m. The cost of admission is € 7. Tickets can be purchased directly at the ticket counters at the entrance to the fair.

Reconstructing 3.0 is a building and energy saving event. In these 15,000 square meters of space there are 148 exhibitors and meetings and seminars are organized on these issues.
The main themes of the edition number twelve are:
- reuse of living spaces and urbanized areas
- recovery and conservation of the building heritage
- protection of the territory.
How to get there and where to stay
To reach Longarone by car, take the A27 Venezia-Belluno motorway. The exit to reach the town is that of Cadore-Cortina. The railway station is a short distance from the exhibition center and is served by the Venezia-Calalzo and Padova-Calalzo lines.
The nearest airport is Venice which is an hour’s drive away. From here, Venice-Cortina buses are available.
Wait there is more: for the overnight stay I recommend the hotel Quattro Valli just two Km from the fair. The cost of one night is about € 80 per room. Alternatively I suggest the B & B Dormì & Disnà which is located 13 Km from the destination. The price of a room is 60 €.
