From 3rd to 19th September 2018 the XII edition of MITO is held: September in music, the fair dedicated to Italian music that embraces the culture of sound in Italy at 360 °. The Mito Festival owes its name to the union between the initials of Milano and Torino, that is MI and TO, MITO. This is because, traditionally, the festival is established in not only one but in both places, with events that can be followed both by the people of Milan and Turin, as well as by all visitors who might wish to move from one city to the other.

The twelfth edition of MITO Music festival will last about two weeks, with concerts and events structured in way that might allow those interested to follow them in both cities. Thanks to the high speed trains, the distance between Milan and Turin, can be covered in just 50 minutes. 16 days of events during which there will be approximately 125 appointments designed to satisfy the tastes of all music lovers. A celebration that does not want to be elitist but, instead wishes to enclose the popular music and the ancient sounds of the Italian tradition, especially at regional level.

The events will embrace everything that is Italian art, encompassing both elite music and popular songs with a folkloristic background. Among the most anticipated events, artists aside, there will surely be the two days dedicated to choir singing, aimed at introducing visitors to such art and structured as real open day training.
