
Today Italian Traditions opens the doors of Villa Trigona, located right next to the down town, an ideal place for tourists who feel the need for contact with nature and its rhythms, who want to rediscover the charm of the rural world and along with this, the goodness of the genuine products that the land offers. It is an ancient manor house dating from the late eighteenth century, owned by the noble house of Trigona, illustrious family whose history is deeply intertwined with that of Sicily and Piazza Armerina. Much loved and lived as a holiday home by its owners, after a period of neglect, Villa Trigona has been given a new life, precisely in 2007, when it materialized the restoration project was born from the idea to also use it as a guest house. The old farmhouse has been renovated and restored with the intention to keep intact what is the spirit of the house, its installation and its furnishings, and consists of two buildings developed on two floors, decorated with exposed brick and fine harness.

A lovely garden patio used as a restaurant area, large green areas and equipped areas for sports and leisure activities – a bocce court, a playground, an area for archery, mountain bike – and a pool with solarium located in an elevated area, enrich this mansion with unique charm. The natural charm of the time, however, has been wisely provided of all comfort.

The Trigona family takes care of its guests every day with great care and attention, with the objective to fully satisfy their needs, not to mention that of the senses! The gastronomy is undoubtedly one of the strengths of Villa Trigona, whose owners are partners and great admirers of the slow Food circuits, and as such, they select for their loyal customers only fresh products and high quality, excellent cuisine expression traditional regional. Among the many main dishes of the house suggest the pasta you with wild fennel, pasta with pesto of herbs or traditional meatballs in sweet and sour. All strictly it accompanied by the full taste of regional wines, the pride of the Sicilian agri-food sector.

Very interesting is the breakfast, both continental and Italian, which offers a rich and varied choice, from sweet to savory, with local products but mainly home-made products such as cakes, biscuits and jams with the delicate flavor of citrus fruits Sicily, tangerine and orange.
