On Wednesday, April 2, at the headquarters of the Unione Parmense degli Industriali, there will be an important discussion about the future of Made in Italy. Matteo Venturi, president of Confindustria, will participate in the meeting with the minister Adolfo Urso, bringing attention to one of the most iconic Italian excellence: the white marble of Carrara.
The event, organized on the occasion of the National Day of Italian Excellence, is a key moment for dialogue between government and business. The debate focused on the strategic role of the agri-food sector and, at the initiative of Venturi, the challenges related to the exploitation and protection of Carrara marble.
Protection and enhancement of white marble: an excellence to be defended
Venturi aims to highlight the unique characteristics of Carrara marble, a material that for centuries has represented the ultimate in elegance and quality in the stone sector. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss critical issues and prospects of the sector, with the aim of strengthening its promotion at governmental and international levels.
Made in Italy Day: a tribute to Italian excellence
Celebrated on 15 April, the Made in Italy Day aims to promote creativity and innovation that make Italian products unique in the world. Among the objectives, raise public awareness of the value of Italian manufacturing, encourage young people to craft professions and strengthen the protection of quality production.
The event of 2 April is part of this context, with the intention of building new strategies to protect and enhance the pillars of Made in Italy, from the agri-food sector to manufacturing excellence such as Carrara marble.
