Record fair: 22nd and 23rd December an unmissable appointment for music enthusiasts

Do you already know what to do during the upcoming Christmas holidays? If you like music in particular, and this year you want to give yourself a different Christmas, I suggest you don’t miss the Record Fair.

On December 22nd and 23rd, PalaMazzola of Taranto will host the 6th edition of the event dedicated to music of all kinds.

But that’s not all: this is truly an event not to be missed for all vinyl record lovers and for simple music lovers, do you know why?

On the occasion of the big event it will be possible to buy, sell or exchange not only vinyl records, but also:

  • CDs
  • DVDs
  • Magazines
  • Gadgets
  • All kinds of materials of different  musical genres

Would you like to participate? I’m sure you would and I assure you that you’ll be thrilled to find out how many types of music you can listen to today! From pop rock to hip hop, from reggae to disco dance and much more.

The structure that will host the Fair is located where the Valentino Mazzola Stadium once stood, in Via Cesare Battisti, easily reachable once you arrive in Taranto.
The admission cost is 2 euros.

How to reach Taranto

To reach the city of Puglia by plane, you land at the airport of Grottaglie, Brindisi Casale or Bari Palese. From the last one a free shuttle service to Taranto is available.
By train, you can reach Taranto station, at the exit of which there is a stop for city buses that will allow you to reach the location where the Record Fair is held.

Record Fair: a big exhibition market dedicated to the return of vinyl

It is no coincidence that the event dedicated to all genres of music has reached its sixth edition, don’t you think?

Given the great success of the past few years, the exhibition market has no choice but to reopen its doors to the many fans of the old beloved vinyl and music in general.

And I’ll tell you more: on the occasion of the Fair, in addition to buying, selling and exchanging all kinds of music (CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, etc.), you can attend other interesting initiatives.
In fact, there will also be an instrument area, where you will be able to admire guitars and basses belonging to famous musicians, homemade amplifiers and old record players.
As in previous editions, this year all visitors will receive a discount voucher of 2 euros at the entrance to be used inside the event.

Believe me, this year it will certainly be more exciting to participate in the Christmas edition of the event and maybe even have the opportunity to visit Taranto illuminated by a thousand colored lights.

What to do in Taranto in December after seeing the Record Fair

Did you know that Taranto is also called the city of the two seas? That’s right, because it is bathed by two seas that make it a truly fascinating place, but not only.

This Apulian city is lively, varied and rich in history, despite suffering from the serious problems common to all big cities.

Would you like some suggestions on what to do in Taranto in the days before Christmas? Here I am going to offer you a couple of tips.

Once you have completed your visit to the Record Fair, do not miss the view of the Ponte Girevole, one of the most significant monuments of this place, a passage that unites the two seas of the city.
And not only that: I believe that anyone who arrives in Taranto cannot miss a stop at the wonderful Aragonese Castle and the Fortress of Laclos.

I recommend, however, between visits to not forget to taste the delicacies of the sea offered by the most characteristic restaurants!

Since you are in one of the regions that s definitely worth visiting in Italy, I suggest you stay a few more days to admire some of its beautiful provinces.
