On the table of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy the watchword is «continuous control». Deputy Minister Adolfo Urso chaired today the update meeting on the future of Ceramica Dolomite, the Venetian company famous for its design solutions for bathroom, laundry and kitchen with plant in Borgo Valbelluna (BL).
After defining in detail the recapitalisation due to the new corporate structure, the parties agreed on a close monitoring of the implementation of the business plan. «We want to intervene promptly in the face of any obstacle», stressed Urso, noting that «Ceramica Dolomite embodies the excellence of Made in Italy and deserves to compete again at the highest international levels».
The meeting was attended by delegations from the Veneto Region, local authorities, trade union organizations and Invitalia – entered capital through the Fondo Salvaguardia Imprese. The company’s management explained the progress of the business plan, focusing on the most strategic production lines and the order book.
In order to guarantee constant support, MIMIT has already set the next verification table for 24 June, starting a series of periodic meetings that will accompany Ceramica Dolomite towards full economic and operational consolidation.
The constant monitoring launched by MIMIT is not only a signal of institutional attention, but a real thermometer of Ceramica Dolomite’s ambitions: Keeping the pace of investments and international contracts high is crucial to transform the historic Venetian manufacturing into a model of resilience and innovation.
If the next test tables can confirm the objectives of growth and quality, we will not only have before the relaunch of a company, but a virtuous example of how the dialogue between institutions, entrepreneurs and unions can design the future of Made in Italy in the world.
