L’Artigiano in Fiera


All the world – its flavors, culture and traditions -  in one place! This is the essence of one of each year’s most anticipated events, L’Artigiano in Fiera, a seldom and unique opportunity to purchase, view and touch worldwide handcrafted products, original unique and of the highest quality, unobtainable elsewhere. But not only.

Between a taste and another, you will attend musical events, dance performances, cooking classes, but above all to try out the best of international dining, thanks to the presence of more than 40 restaurants, for a multi-sensory journey throughout the world lasting 9 days! From Italy (Halls 1-3, 2-4 and 6) to Europe (Halls 5-7), from Africa to the Middle East (Hall 5), and from Asia (Halls 10-14) to the Americas (Hall 14). The Milanese trade fair opened its doors in 1996, with the aim of focusing attention on the artisanship and its huge capacity and quality, creating an event totally dedicated to the sector. A great new "sample" for small producers, which find in this event a privileged occasion for their promotion and growth.

On an exhibition area of 310,000 square meters, L’Artigiano in Fiera will offer to visitors a comprehensive global handicraft representation through a path between the talent and originality which will unfold also in the areas dedicated to fashion, creativity, furnishings (Moda&Design, Salone della creatività, Abitare la casa). Here, the expert hands of wood-artisans, the passion of the masters of the do-it-yourself and the ideas of youngsters, will demonstrate that the mix of tradition and innovation is the perfect recipe for excellence.

Edition 2016 brings two interesting novelties. In fact, this year the event will be accessible from all over Italy and Switzerland; in addition to the routes of Trenord, Trenitalia’s Eurocity trains from Geneva and Basel and Milan’s underground, also the railway company Italo will make an unscheduled stop at Milano Rho-Fiera Station. The other novelty is the introduction of cooking classes which will allow visitors to learn the secrets of the specialties offered directly by the custodians of the true recipes, handed down from generation to generation.

To "touch" the many local identities and even the history of countries in conflict, to live an experience which smacks of culture, popular traditions and taste, the appointment is from December 3rd to the 11th, starting from 10am until 10:30pm. Don’t miss it.
