Corte Onida

Corte Onida is a family-run farm holiday centre housed in a restored 17th century farmhouse, in the Parco del Mincio area on the low glacial deposit hills of Garda, in Lombardy. It is precisely located in the municipality of Volta Mantovana, one of the strongholds of the Canossa family in ancient times.

The kitchen is managed by Emilia, the owner of Corte Onida and it offers an abundant breakfast buffet and delicious dinners with local specialties, on request. Her husband Luigi takes care of guests’ accomodation and he organizes trips and excursions for them.

The farm house is equipped with 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 bed-sitting rooms, all furnished in classic style. Two studio apartments with kitchenette, air conditioning and TV sat are also available.

Starting from the agritourism you can make walks on foot or by bicycle, renting it in the structure, on the morainic hills of Lake Garda and Parco del Mincio, or, through an agreed riding school, horseback riding. You can enjoy a canoe rental, too. The company also offers tour packages arranged by the owners.

Moreover in a few minutes by car you can visit the famous medieval villages of Castellaro Lagusello, Borghetto, Valeggio sul Mincio and Solferino, or some cities of art such as Verona and Mantova.
