Conte Ottelio

The Conte Ottelio agritourism was located in the renovated barn of the main villa belonged to earl Ottelio until the first week of June 1948 when this part of the building has become part of the property of the Bozzi family.

The barn, barcòn or barco is a service farm building, typical of the Venetian villa, designed to contain the workplace, dividing the space of the central body of the villa, occupied by the owners, from that of the peasants.

Normally, the barns were characterized by an high arcaded structure and intended to services: from the kitchens, the homes of farmers, the stables and the outbuildings (shed for farm implements, warehouse for food supplies and more).

In the Republic of Venice the barns - often more than one - almost always come off the manor house (the central body of the villa that houses the residence of the owner) and, as a rule, were a part of a large productive agricultural complex. With patience and attention, from the barn have been converted four rooms, one suite and two apartments. During the renovation were retained the walls and original wooden beams, so the rooms are very spacious and welcome guests in an ancient and treated atmosphere. All rooms have private bathrooms, some with hydromassage shower or bath.

The Conte Ottelio participates in the "The Cycle tourism in the Land of the Patriarchs" in Province of Udine.
