Ciabot Besimauda

 

Ciabot Besimauda agritourism is immerse in the green hills of Peveragno, in Piedmont, a land characterized by meadows, chestnut and strawberry crops and small fruits.

The agritourism takes its name from the union of two typical elements of the area: the beautiful view of the Bisalta, the mountain symbol of Cuneo, which shows itself in full on sunny days and hiding tips in winter, and the numerous "ciabot" (old houses) you may see during walks in the hills and that give name to the 4 large and comfortable double rooms available to guests, furnished with period furniture and wooden ceilings.

Ciabot Besimauda is specialized in homemade and typical Piedmontese cuisine, with dishes prepared with seasonal and zero food miles products, many of which of their own production: homemade ravioli and tajarin pasta, appetizers with vegetables, meat cooked in a wood oven, aged cheeses produced in the mountain pastures, homemade bread, wine of their production or from the nearby hilly area of Langhe.

Nearby the farmhouse runs a series of trails through the plains, hills and mountains, to cross on foot or by bike. Less than 40 km there are the ski resorts of Limone Piemonte, Prato Nevoso and Lurisia and about 30 km lies the historic Certosa di Pesio, a centuries-old monastery built in the current Pesio nature park.
