The Terme Libere of Bormio is named after Leonardo da Vinci, who left testimony of his visit in his works, immortalizing the name of the famous spa resort in the famous Atlantic Code. Located in Calabria, the Terme of Cerchiara are characterized by a deep cleft that cuts through a rocky outcrop within which flows a stream of thermal water: a sort of narrow canyon called "the Nymphs' Cave”. According to the ancient legend, this secret cave kept the thalamus of the nymph Calypso. In the cave they are formed sludge known since the time of ancient Sibariti for their therapeutic properties. Classified as sulfur, the thermal waters gush out at a temperature of 30 degrees.
