This place from years of history is located in the shade of the Palladian Basilica. It is open for breakfast, lunch breaks, brunches, cocktails, dinners or even to drink a simple coffee. It often offers innovative proposals and accompanies its customers with playlists, the so-called “music stories”, and musical evenings with a rich and unique program.
Housed in an old mill dating back to 1520, the restaurant finds itself in a charming and fairy-tale place, surrounded by green and by the clear waters of the resurgences. The menu draws on typical recipes of Vicenza’s tradition and local products. Besides the “a la carte” menu you will always find a green proposal dedicated to herbs and seasonal vegetables, a proposal with freshwater fish and a proposal to Vicenza's typical cuisine.
It is an intimate restaurant, in the green countryside around Vicenza, with an accurate service and a gastronomic line suggested by the daily market. The cuisine of chef Renato Rizzardi is a combination of creativity, local tradition and seasonal products complimented by the finest choices of sommelier Sergio Olivetti, who takes care of the cellar. The restaurant has won a Michelin star in 2011.
The restaurant, located in the city center, gives a warm welcome with exposed brick walls, classic decor and soft lighting. It offers an eclectic cuisine, consisting of fusion and local cuisine elements and was born from the passion of chef Massimo who has gained experience in various kitchens abroad for several years. Great attention and research is placed on raw materials used fresh every day.
The meaning of the term which gives its name to the restaurant in Vicenza’s dialect is "Trace", "Footprint". The restaurant reflects the heritage of local food and wine culture and broadens its boundaries, to leave its mark, seducing the palate and aiming to create new taste experiences: hence the tradition and identity of the area blend together with inspiration. Two Michelin stars have been assigned to the restaurant since 2009.
